This almond nog really surprised me! I like to sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pretty solid plant-based nog. The flavor is there, but in my opinion it is a bit watery. For that reason, to me the Friendly Farms nog is still a distant second to the Almond Breeze nog. Still, happy to see another entrant into the vegan nog scene :) Did you know: The first known written use of the term eggnog was from a 1775 poem by Jonathan Boucher? "Fog-drams i' th' morn, or (better still) egg-nogg, / At night hot-suppings, and at mid-day, grogg, / My palate can regale".
This tastes noggy and is creamy enough for me, but was too sweet for my personal preference. Cutting it with about half unsweetened soy milk improves it. Worth trying if you like nog! #eggnog #aldi
Hmmm I am very pleasantly surprised by this Friendly Farms Almond Nog from Aldi! It has a great thick and creamy consistency while the flavor delivers that classic egg-y, holiday spice taste (no chickens harmed!) perfect for this time of year! One of the best vegan nogs I’ve tried yet! Ps. I drank like 1/3 of the carton on the way home from the store and have absolutely no regerts ;) 🎄🍶🥚 #veganisnotscary
