VEGAN

Friendly Farms

Pretty solid plant-based nog. The flavor is there, but in my opinion it is a bit watery. For that reason, to me the Friendly Farms nog is still a distant second to the Almond Breeze nog. Still, happy to see another entrant into the vegan nog scene :)

Did you know:

The first known written use of the term eggnog was from a 1775 poem by Jonathan Boucher?

"Fog-drams i' th' morn, or (better still) egg-nogg, / At night hot-suppings, and at mid-day, grogg, / My palate can regale".

itsjustmel Nice! Who knew you could nog almonds!2 likesReply
acastillon @itsjustmel yes! I feel so fortunate that so many brands have done their take on vegan eggnog. They are all pretty good too :) Vegan eggnog is my favorite holiday drink. Is it common to drink it there in Australia too around the holidays?1 likeReply
itsjustmel Eggnog is sort of a thing here at Xmas, but not so big that there will be many vegan options... 1 likeReply
kyu Another informative review! Fun fact = full dollar (if it were up to me!) 1 likeReply
acastillon Thanks @kyu ! This was a $0.70 review, but I have some other ideas to try to get the elusive full dollar. Have you gotten above $0.80 yet? I am happy to get any amount though :)1 likeReply
kyu It’s consistently $0.80 now, and I’ve sort of made peace with it. I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing, without getting too bogged down by some arbitrary valuation of my reviews :-) 1 likeReply
lynnemp If you invite someone you might get $1. 1 likeReply
acastillon @lynnemp that's a great idea! Thanks for the tip, I'm going to try that since I want that dollar!1 likeReply
