Finally tried some Pumfu by Foodies Vegan for my first time! I scrambled it up with some sliced green bell pepper 🫑, onion & tomato 🧅 🍅, shiitake mushrooms🍄‍🟫 , and some garlic pepper seasoning. I enjoyed the consistency and flavor of the #pumfu, and it was quite similar to regular soy tofu in its texture. This pumfu offers 17grams of #protein per 4oz serving, and this package contains 2 servings. In case you don’t already know, pumfu is made using pumpkin seeds.🎃 It’s also #glutenfree and #organic . I appreciated that this product wasn’t in a plastic tray like so many regular tofus are packaged, and I’d definitely buy this again! #pumfu #foodiesvegan #madeinohio #madeincincinnati #madeincincinnatiohio #vegan #plantbased #dogsofabillion #dogsofabv #seymoureugenenorthway

I am embarrassed to admit that this #pumfu has been sitting in the back of the fridge for many months. I think I was intimidated by something I can't really put my finger on. The pale green color? The sponge like appearance? Today I took it out as we scraped the bottom of the barrel in food supply due to a Wisconsin snow storm. Ready for a quick weekend lunch, l opened our nearly bare fridge. I stared at the pumfu, now two weeks expired. It stared back. Well it's phenomenal! No pressing required and ready to go. Extremely versatile and easy to prepare in multiple ways. Slightly denser than tofu and more like a vegan steak or porkless consistency. And the best part.. no weird taste! It has a slightly nutty flavor and that's it, opening up endless possibilities for healthy quick meals. Only downside is it's significantly pricier than tofu. #teampumfu
