Never knew there was potato milk! This was actually good! Didn’t really taste like potato,
but I liked the flavour.

to #ditchdairy 💪 The climate credentials are brandished on every side of the carton, though I imagine such things get taken with a pinch of salt these days 😏 I'll tell you what though, a literal pinch of salt might have been appreciated with this #mylk, because it had a strong whiff of legumes to its body. Trying to make it work with sweetness and chocolate in my cereal felt a bit like a stretch too far 😅 5.8g carbohydrates (3g of which sugars) per 100ml - #carbsforlife territory? 🤔
I bought this as kind of novelty as I’ve never seen potato milk before, and
it’s actually… ok? It’s white, creamy, smooth, slightly sweet, and then a tiny hint of instant mashed potatoes as an aftertaste. Don’t worry though, the instant mash flavour vanishes when you mix it up into a hot chocolate. Surprisingly ok! I would still prefer my oat milk, but if this was cheaper and sitting next to oat milk I would get it again for sure.
Dug is one of Ethical Consumer’s Best Buys so I felt like my money was
going to a company whose values align with mine. It was my first time trying potato milk and it kind of tasted like soya milk at first (which is not my favourite) but as I drank it more, I found that I quite enjoyed it on its own.
