Brave Robot Hazelnut Chocolate Chunk Animal-Free Dairy

This flavor is delicious and tastes like a mild ferrero rocher chocolate. All the Brave

Robot ice creams have the quintessential dairy flavor (i didn’t necessarily miss that). The creaminess is perfect right out of the freezer. It did leave that thick/string texture in my mouth and saliva that i disliked.

Why don’t more foods have hazelnuts? Why doesn’t everything come with chunks of chocolate?

Got this delicious, not remotely healthy nice cream on sale for a couple bucks. Who

doesnt love hazelnut flavored stuff? Knowing it didn't come from a place of animal torture & slaughter makes it a champ. .

Perfect Day is animal-free and makes milk protein, yes this is whey, nutritionally identical to cow's milk but using flora fermentation. It is entirely cruelty-free and lactose-free. The company uses microbes and adds DNA sequences which instruct them to produce proteins and fats found in dairy milk. The microbes feed on sugars and other nutrients in big fermentation tanks and secrete the protein into the broth from which it can be harvested.

This is my third brave robot ice cream review.

The Brave Robot ice creams are phenomenal. Using a new “animal-free whey protein”, which they

say is molecularly identical to dairy whey, they’re able to create a rich, creamy ice cream base that I would say is indistinguishable from cow dairy ice cream! Check out their website for all the details on their process. Typically I don’t love super chocolate-y ice creams, but I devoured this one. I highly recommend their raspberry truffle flavor!! I’ll post that next time I get my hands on it. If you see this brand in stores, do not hesitate to give it a try!
