I sliced it and followed the instruction to marinade for five minutes. Good advice. Iāve had tempeh before and just pan fried it and found it dry and cloying. A few minutes absorbing some tamarind sauce mixed with olive oil and sesame seeds made all the difference. The tempeh sponges up the juices and all that flavour infused as youāre cooking. Very tasty accompanied by new potatoes and steamed curly kale. Very simple meal but felt nourishing.
