Was super excited to find that 7-11 now included a veg range in their onigiri for super easy quick on-the-go, but even better in my fav dishes ever via flavour of thunder tea rice! But the rice really exceeded the fillings by a lot (bad carb:flavour/topping ratio) & flavour was not distinct. V limited in fact. Is an affordable price but would not buy again.. Still applajd the ingenuity of this food concept!!! If only the product were improved in flavour & proportion

Random find at the 7-Eleven! Thunder Tea (aka #leicha) is a traditional Chinese #Hakka rice dish accompanied by several sides of vegetables, nuts and tofu. The bowl is then covered with tea made with ground-up vegetables, tea leaves, herbs and nuts. While most eateries that serve thunder tea rice are non-veg, the dish can be easily made vegan by asking for no anchovies or dried shrimp. Thunder tea rice happens to be one of my all-time favourite dishes. The idea of putting thunder tea rice into an onigiri form is excellent; it makes it extra convenient to have it on the go. If only there were an option to have hot thunder tea (soup) to go with this. That would be amazing. My only issue with this is that the seasoning aren’t spread evenly.
