😚Not something I often go for, but I was interested in the homemade granola. 🏠The granola indeed had good texture and crunch, the pieces were on a larger side as compared to the retail ones. Vegan hummus fans, you’ve come to the right post! I finally found a really good Buddha bowl that’s reasonably priced. Hallelujah. This was just right—it really hit the spot. I used to live in the area about half a decade ago, and Google led me back here. I was pleasantly surprised by this shop. The owner is genuinely skilled at making his food. The portion was generous, yet it wasn’t jelak (overwhelming). I managed to finish everything in one go—it was just the right portion for me. Some people have complained about the portion size, but I thought it was perfect. The food smelled incredibly fresh, especially the vegetables. Everything has to be ordered online, and since it’s a one-man show, the owner isn’t able to guide you through the process. So, be sure to place your order online in advance. This was a pretty cool side dish. One each of their different inari: Chuka wakame, Tofuegg Mayo, Inari, Teriyaki Mushroom Inari, Vegan Floss and Quinoa. With the exception of the quinoa, they use brown rice. This was such a beautiful lunch. TPF sure knows how to make salad bowls. The housemade garlic hummus was all kinds of gorgeous. I liked the roasted pumpkin too. Wowsers. This was simply amazing. straightforward, so pretty and yummy. Loved the fresh veggies, tofu and edamame, and that generous serve of soba noodles. And that housemade miso-sesame dressing so lovely and rich in flavour, tied everything together beautifully. I love when a salad bowl is put together so well, like here. 🧧Luckily I got to try this before they stopped the CNY seasonal special! 🌊I was apprehensive as I was worried it might be very "fishy", but it turned out pretty enjoyable! I suspect there's some form of sea vegetable infused into the soup, so it's umami with a slight taste of the sea. 💜The yam is oh so creamy but still at the point you can pick it up and chew off! 🍄Especially appreciate the efforts to make the enoki and seaweed roll. 💜Appreciate the wholesomeness of mashed yam with pretty low levels of sugar. I also believe there was no added oils (which I recall other restaurants do so... for reasons I still can't comprehend), but they use a good share of coconut milk to give that fatty/ creamy texture. 🍠I think adding sweet potato pieces is a great way to up the natural sweetness, and introduce texture difference. Would be great to have a bit more. 😆Gingko is a traditional add on, and I enjoy it here as well~ 🧧Quite pleasant to see TPF try something out of their comfort zone (or at least out of the dessert repertoire that they offer).
