So so good . Was a great dish and definitely serves more than two . My favorites included the lentils , cabbage and carrot as well as the spinach . Requested vegan , but they did add cheese my accident but easily removed .
This Ethiopian place blew me away. The interior decor is gorgeous. Lots of dark woods and interesting Ethiopian decor. This veggie platter was perfect to share for 3! It said on the menu that it can be made vegan or vegetarian, but they accidentally put the cheese on ours, which I did not eat. If you omit the cheese it would be vegan. Each stew was so delicious in its own way. I looooved the lentils in the berbere sauce, the stewed cabbage and carrots, and the spinach! The spices were so vibrant, warm, and just really hit the tastebuds. Plus, the injera was perfectly moist, soft, and a perfect vessel for these amazing flavours.
Another injera post, just because it's so so delicious! Injera is a sourdough bread from eg. Eritrea! It's eaten with your hands and normally there are several stews and dishes on top of the bread! If you have the chance to go to a Ethiopian or Eritrean restaurant I strongly recommend try it out! #veganuary
This dish contains five vegetarian or vegan dishes (according to your preference) to be shared by 2 people, although I think it would be sufficient for a group of 3-4. Ethiopian food always fills my heart and Toukoul was amazing! 💚 #ethiopian PS: A couple of the dishes are spicy and my Belgian friend who wasn't used to the spiciness could not handle it 😋
