Spicy Eggplant

The portion for this is comically larger than just about everything else 😅 Keep that in mind when ordering! It’s not as #spicy as the name or looks would suggest but if you don’t like that “green” aftertaste #chilli or bell peppers tend to impart on dishes then you may not necessarily enjoy this 🫑 They fried the #eggplant such that it was crunchy while super saucy at the same time 😋 Super recommended if you love #aubergine! 🍆 Speaking of aubergines, my duck plushie named “Aubergine” was stolen from me recently. This is a really simple dish yet it’s bursting with flavor! The eggplant is always cooked to perfection and I love the colours on the plate.

Perfectly cooked and seasoned eggplant with tons of whole garlic cloves, green & red chili peppers and whole lot of vinegar that actually gives the peppers a bit of a citrusy finish. If you like eggplant you’re gonna love this spicy eggplant at Si Wei Mao Cai. It’s not too spicy but bursting with flavor. Must try!
