Noodle serviti con una salsa di fagioli neri e funghi- è un piatto tipico coreano che solitamente contiene carne rivisitato
비건자장면. Thick noodles with onions and a few pieces of diced mushrooms stir-fried in black bean paste sauce. Honestly didn't really enjoy this, as it was too clumpy / starchy without much nutrition, as well as too one-dimensional in flavour and texture for my liking. Would have liked some crumbled tofu / soy meat / greater variety and amount of mushrooms to mimic the 'pork', and possibly some vegetables rather than onions. Taste-wise I wouldn't really recommend this, except for the novelty of having a vegan version of the popular Korean-Chinese fusion jjajangmyeon dish. (Contains alliums. Medium 8,000 won)
Not the best I’ve had but this is one plate of yummilicious jjajamyeon. Accompanied by my most loved tea.. and the tea is complimentary. Along with the lovely pickled veggies and apple/*snow pear 🥳 salad. Belly happy and belly full. 🌱🤍
This is the best vegan jjajangmyeon I have ever tasted. I ordered this both times I visited the restaurant. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend
Finally I got to taste what those meat-eaters were talking about when they say how Jjajangmyeon is delicious. I’ve only ever had home-cooked vegan versions quite different from the original, so this was the first time I could order a vegan one at a restaurant that looked and tasted like the non-vegan ones. I wasn’t disappointed! The vegan version was hearty, satisfying, and tasty. The noodles were great individually too, assuming they would just be bland. Overall, a great Jjajangmyeon!
