Spaghetti (not linguine) strands coated in housemade pesto sauce made using basil, cashew nuts, nutritional yeast, and extra virgin olive oil. 🍝🌿 Tasted decent to me, but my non-veg cousins weren't impressed, probably because there were no alliums and no cheese. 🙈 Perhaps there could have been some black pepper or chilli powder or spices to give it that extra kick, since there weren't any aromatics used in the cooking! Topped with pine nuts and a token amount of cherry tomatoes; I think they were supposed to be sun-dried tomatoes which would probably have offered a more intense flavour, not sure what happened there hahaha. 👀🍅 A little boring without much dimensionality or any other ingredients - personally would have liked some other textures and flavours such as mushrooms, peas, edamame, tempeh cubes, etc! Decent pasta but did not pass the taste test of my non-vegan diner. Lack of salt perhaps ? 😛
Easy eat of blended herbs. Generous with sauce, with distinct basil taste. Simple, hot dish. Other than pasta and pesto sauce, pine nuts and pumpkin seeds are added as toppings.
A bit bland. Not to my liking. May be you can give it a try or pass this!
Pasta is well cooked. Had a strong pesto flavour but other than that, I felt this a bit bland and kinda too less salt and spices. Would have preferred a bit more flavourful. The pesto is too overpowering.
