This place name is Hatoya too but it doesn’t have anything to do with the matcha place nearby. This is a permanent stand in the Asakusa market that offers vegan Sandos: the typical Japanese sandwich filled with whipped cream and fresh fruit. Had to go for the classic strawberry sando. Honestly loved it, so thankful to have been able to try a vegan version of this. Can’t wait to make it at home, as it’s really quite simple. A #musttry in Tokyo, especially for #strawberriesandcream lovers! Super easy to find stall just outside of Senso-ji shrine. I tried the strawberry sandwich and it was SO GOOD. The outdoor seating (pictured above) was super cute too!
