Tastes like most mock meats would, it was slightly oily out of the can so I rinsed it before pan-frying it. Pretty cool to see such items in the market now😌 (though I don’t see myself repurchasing it)

It’s price wasn’t too bad though, $3.50 for a pack (2 patties) though I won’t be repurchasing it:(

This. Was. Incredible. Tastes exactly like chicken tenders, and the texture was on point too. May be a tad salty eaten on its own, but a lil drizzle of maple syrup or agave goes a long way. 

(Only downfall was that it was a lil pricey—$8.95 a pack) other than that, I highly recommend trying it!

So many new finds at Cold Storage!! Haven’t seen this brand in the market before so I decided to give it a shot. The siew mai steamed well, taste was a little bland but overall it wasnt too bad. Price wasn’t too bad either, $3.90 for a pack of 6 :)

Very late to the impossible game😂 but Cold Storage had a recent $3 discount, I couldn’t say no. 
Taste and texture is pretty similar to meat, though I found it a lil oily:( still a novel invention that I’d buy when prices drop🥲

Mock mutton

Was first introduced to mock mutton when I ate at greendot (I love the soya mutton in their herbal noodles hahah)
Finally found a bag of these at FVFS, which i bought using grabfood groceries🥴

Texture was very similar to the ones used in Greendot, I still prefer the taste of soya mutton from greendot though? Or maybe I just haven’t experimented enough with cooking it. 
Either way, I still think this isn’t a bad product if anyone wants to give it a try :)
