It was my FIRST time eating plant-based #luncheonmeat which was really strange to think about at first but actually turned out to be really good?! 🌱🥩🥫 There are many ways to eat this — literally #frying it is already great! Doesn’t matter if you pan-fry, deep-fry or air-fry — it is a crispy outside and has the #salty vibe BUT i personally prefer them in #stews 💚💚💚 Since they are flavoured, they ads flavour to the soup or stew and not take flavour out? haha #armystew is also a great way to use this and adds flavour to the #soup 🍲

Potentially triggering images 😂 #shittyveganfoodporn presented by me using #AyamBrand’s vegan luncheon meat. Growing up, I’ve eaten a lot of luncheon meat in soup pasta, fried with egg, in rice congee etc. so it is a pretty nostalgic experience trying #luncheonmeat from a can again (specifying ‘can’ because omnimeat does frozen already sliced luncheon meat). I made Annie’s Vegan Mac & Cheese to go with the random cuts of meat. Random cuts because I was struggling to get it out of the can intact, it was snuggly enough to form a vacuum with the can. 🙃 Taste wise, it alright, I guess it’s supposed to taste very much like the original, but I haven’t had meat in ages, so I can’t tell. #annies #macandcheese #luncheonmeat #veganspam #spam

I actually never even like luncheon meat previously, tried it once and it just wasn’t my thing. This one i tried out of curiosity,as always. Not too bad for #fakemeat i wld say. I made kimchi stew with it. It had the meat or those corned beef kind of taste tht comes in a can. It’s a huge tin,and i got d smaller one. Couldn’t finish it in one go when ure cooking for one. I had abt 4 meals sorted with this one can. 2nd round i just chopped it smaller and made it wth gochujang dry stew and ate it wth rice. Taste is ok. I asked my pork eating friend and she said it did taste quite decent conside tht it’s #mockmeat . I wld probably just hv ths on my pantry reserved for lazy cooking days. #plantbasedmeat
