First time trying this side dish and it was super yummy! The tofu was not greasy or oil and had a lovely texture, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. There was a nice lemongrassy sauce layered on the tofu, which soaked up all the sauce and made for a delicious bite each time! #friedtofu #veganprotein #sidedish #tofulover

First time trying this dish as I usually go for the signature noodles. This wasn’t bad though I thought the signature noodles had deeper flavours from the sauce added so this was slightly plain. That being said, the noodles as always were delicious and the roasted chicken pieces were perfectly cooked as well! I’ve been a long time fan of this restaurant, and this particular dish always hits the spot. The noodles are perfectly cooked and springy each time, and the “chicken” beancurd slices are so delicious with a crispy outer layer. The sauce is full of umami and you can’t help but go back in for more. Everything pairs nicely with the chili sauce made in-house and the cut chili in soy sauce. Broth was very spicy and tangy. Only issue I have with this was the lack of protein. It's just a bowl of noodles, napa cabbage, some carrots, mushrooms and a piece of wanton skin (not even a piece of yuba) and it cost $7.

Thin noodles served with leafy greens (mostly stalks and no leaves ahaha) and boiled housemade wantons. 🍜🥬🥟 Impressed that they didn't use generic store-bought frozen dumplings. The wanton skin was silky smooth, while the filling tasted quite similar to what I remember meat wantons to be like. I did wish there was slightly less skin and more filling though. Personally would have liked a few pieces of 'char siew' for variety too! P.S. Fried / soup wantons are also available as a side if you don't want this as a main!
