I got this at the Burlington Veg Fest. It was a delicious #taco. It was $7. It was described as: dehydrated shiitake #mushrooms mixed with wheat fibers and soy fibers and hydrated with #lime juice and Mexican peppers. Love me a mushroom lol. It was sooooo good, just like all of their other foods. :)

My friend got this at the Burlington Veg Fest. She loved it. I love this restaurant so it was cool to see them at the festival, as I don't get to Barrie often. It was described as: soy based meat marinated on a #pineapple and Mexican peppers addobo. It was $7.

These fully loaded house nachos with vegan barbacoa were totally awesome and totally filling! The flavours were amazing! The different textures combined were truly satisfying as you can imagine. I have been to this restaurant once before and I was glad that work took me here again so that I could enjoy it once more. The staff are also nice. Like in my previous review, this dish was one of Mexhico's Sunday brunch offerings (they have now discontinued brunch 😔) Delicious bread topped with refried beans, cheese, pico de gallo, and chorizo... It was every bit as magical as it sounds 💖

This was my first time going to Mexhico for their Sunday brunch... and sadly also the last time since they are discontinuing it 😢 Hopefully they will bring brunch back once in a while for special occasions because it was just mind-blowingly delicious 🤯🤤👌👌👌 I went all out with this dish and got it with a side of bacon and sourdough toast... because why not!? Everything on the plate was cooked and seasoned to perfection. HEAVEN!

I wasn’t expecting these to be my favourite tacos we tried, so if you’re sitting at Mexhico trying to decide what to get and you’re like hmm 🤔 should I try the fish tacos? I say yes buddy, do not sleep on these! 🌮 🏆 They were hot, crispy, the right flavour and texture, and the mango salsa absolutely delivers too 🥭 these three tacos were very filling by themselves, so worth sharing if you wanna taste some other things too 😋 Everything is good here!

This was one of the very few menu items from Mexhico I hadn't tried yet, but I can now cross them off my list thanks to @xdarrenx The guac was creamy and delish, and the chips are apparently homemade which is cool. Great for sharing with friends while you all complain about carnists and wait for your tacos de barbacoa.

Ok, so I've reviewed another tres leches cake that I had at this restaurant before, but that one was a weekly feature they had some time ago and it was made by a different bakery. This one is courtesy of Moonbeam Vegan Bakery, and it appears that it will be available every week now in limited quantities. I HIGHLY recommend you get your hands on a slice if there are any left when you visit - even if you're not a big fan of sweet stuff. It's slightly sweet + light, spongy, moist, and creamy all at once 😋

#mexhico #veganisnotscary #fajitas The last shareable plate my friend, and I ordered was the Ch’kn Fajitas. Visually, this was very appealing, but we later discovered that the ch’kn pieces and vegetables were sitting in a lot of oil. Admittedly, it tasted fantastic, but greasy. We were given a lot of flour and corn tortillas, but they were small, and not enough considering the abundance of veggies and ch’kn. So there could be some improvements to this dish. I would still get it again, but ask if it’s possible for it to be less oily.
