One of the most popular vegan bakeries in Taipei, Yiihotang features a wide range of
baked goods. They have a few locations in Taipei.
One of my favourite items here is their salted ‘egg’ pastry. Using pumpkin as egg, they are able to veganize this famous pastry in Taiwan. The lightly salted ‘egg’ is paired with sweet red bean paste for a balance and satisfying dessert. Another highlight is the pineapple cake, a famous Taiwanese pastry dessert with pineapple jam filling.
