I liked the subtle fragrance from this dish and all the ingredients - soft tofu, strips of seaweed, crunchy greens, soy sauce - come together really well in terms of flavour and crunch and texture. It’s overpriced, as other reviews mention, but insofar as it’s the Token Vegan Option in this particular restaurant, it’s pretty good.
As the other reviewer said, glorified cai fan. But it’s tasty: there’s a nice soy sauce for the rice, the vegetables lend a nice balance of texture and taste! Really enjoyed it! But it also seems very haphazard or obligatory as a menu item for plant based people, to compensate for the rest of the menu. Would highly recommend the furikake cauliflower though (not in picture)
The bowl comprised of simple ingredients, making it seem like just an overpriced caifan dish. It was pretty okay otherwise.
