Mapo Tofu

If there is a dish that make you fall in love with tofu, this is the one.

Was good but not spicy. My pal liked it. It was just the right level of spice for him

I don't think this dish is originally vegan here. But based on the number of reviews on abv I'm guessing it has to be requested to be veganised. We didn't and I thought I bit into some minced meat?? Otherwise it's really rich in flavour, sweet from the salted bean paste, and mildly spicy from the peppercorn infused chili oil.

Love!!!! $8.80? I think for this whole thing. It was a shiok level of spicy and the tofu was in between silken and firm it was rly guuuud. The base is bean paste I think. #veganin2020

Mapo Tofu is one of my all-time favourite dishes so I have high expectations when I order it. This was pretty good! Not overly spicy. We ordered rice separately to enjoy with this dish. #veganisnotscary
