I don't think this dish is originally vegan here. But based on the number of reviews on abv I'm guessing it has to be requested to be veganised. We didn't and I thought I bit into some minced meat?? Otherwise it's really rich in flavour, sweet from the salted bean paste, and mildly spicy from the peppercorn infused chili oil.
