The signature dish that Yi Xin is known for! Spicy, savoury, and sour broth filled

with rice noodles, fried soy fish, fried tofu puffs, fried seaweed, shredded cucumber, and lettuce. Pretty good and on par with authentic Penang assam laksa! Personally would have preferred not to have the fried seaweed chips or to have it served on the side instead, as it got soggy very fast in the soup. But then again, perhaps the fried seaweed helped to introduce some 'seafood' flavour to the dish! (Allium-free, $6) #sgvegan #organic

I am SO HAPPY to discover this very affordable veggie stall near my office!! This

S$6 bowl of assam laksa is very hearty and has the perfect noodle to filling ratio. The “fish” flakes to keep the soup true to how the consistency should be really bamboozled me. Service is quick here and they even have free hi speed wifi if you’re feeling like doing some work 😸

Rainy days call for a warm and comforting bowl of Assam laksa! This is my

first time trying a vegan option and despite being lighter than the non veg version, I actually enjoyed this much better. The broth was light, yet tangy which had me slurping it all up! This came with some mock fish and fried crispy ikan bilis/seaweed (which is my favourite) and a little lettuce to make it more nutritious. I would have preferred if they added more toppings or greens, but for 5 bucks, this is totally worth it. Do also order their vegetables on the side as well. Would definitely be back to try other mains! #veganin2020

my fav assam laksa in whole of singapore, would eat it all day everyday

Light with clear broth but I didn't like it as it is too sweet for

my taste. Other than that, it's ok with ample ingredients like mock fish, crispy seaweed, veggies.

Not many places in Singapore serve assam laksa, especially when they use thick rice noodles

like the one from Penang. So this is consider a rare dish to me. I like the authentic taste, the mixture of both spiciness and sourness is perfect. The mock fish use in this dish is also one of the few good mock fish in Singapore.

My fav so far~ so so yummilicious and their thick bee hoon is so good~

I bought it yesterday and kept it for this morning~~~ belly happy~ 🌱🌸

The best Assam laksa ever! The broth is a perfect balance of sweet, sour and

spicy. So addictive and shiok! Happy that they replaced the mock fish with more tofu and veggies. $5

My first time at Yi Xin so I had to get the dish with the

most reviews! I like the fish texture, it came with many ingredients and the soup was nicely savoury & sour. Good portion for $6!

Tastiest Assam Laksa in Singapore? Probably! Asked for extra sour and got it! Add a

few chillies and it’s perfect 👌🥰
