Absolutely delicious dish. It is everything you want in a nasi padang. Every dish tastes

delicious, but especially the rendang!

Initially thought portions were really small but it was the plate that gave that effect.

Tried a bit of this that my friend ordered. Tempeh was caramelized and different in a good way. Vegetables were nice but would've been nice if it wasn't so watery. Mushroom rendang is bomb. They also have chillis by the side that you should definitely spam with. #crf #indonesian

Can't believe it took me this long to try Warung Ijo's Nasi Padang considering I've

been frequenting them for months?! It's got a generous serving of best of everything in their repertoire - lemongrass tofu in soya sauce, chewy mushroom rendang gravy, a crramy semi-sweet coconutty sayur lodeh, a veggie fritter to add a crispier crunch. It's one of their pricier dishes, around $12, but it's a treat for the tastebuds once in a while. Highly recommended especially if this is the only dish you'll try at Warung Ijo.

This Nasi Padang set came with a coconut gravy, lions mane mushroom rendang, veggie fritters,

tofu in a kicap sauce and steamed broccoli. I added on a potato fritter for an extra $2 which is suuuuper pricy for how simple it is. Overall I loved the variety and how the flavours each of the components blended together nicely while still maintaining to hold their own. Small gripe is that some of the dishes weren’t as warm as I would’ve liked them to be.

The tofu was really simple and plain; the lontong tasted bland with hardly anything inside

it. I liked the monkey head mushroom rendang but there were only around 3 pieces and not enough curry :( The fritters tasted okay. I think loving huts nasi campur tastes better and is more satisfying! But very good selection of dishes on the menu. Could do with more Indonesian drinks as they served a lot of canned and bottled drinks.

Indonesian food is great but often not super healthy so having a vegan version is

a fantastic way to make it healthier! Loved this nasi padang/nasi campur-esque dish. It comes with egg but ask for vegan/no egg and they give you tempeh instead which is tons better! I would eat this again. Dish was $11.90.

My first dish on my vegan-only day and it had to be the Indo/Malay dish,

Nasi Padang!

Love the lion mane rendang! Texturally very similar to regular rendang. Had an egg on mine tho but u can ask for it without.

A good steady start to my vegan journey!
