Veganized! Fried Rice

The fried rice was interesting with cherry tomatoes and wing beans instead of usual ingredients. I felt I was transported back to Indonesia with the taste but the portion was small for my husband and I (we had to order another bowl of rice to share)

It was really flavourful by itself and didn't need any accompaniments. It comes with a fried egg which we got on the side and my non vegan friend ate it. The portion was fairly small so we had to get another one (and it's not cheap!!).

This rice was amazing! It normally comes as a vegetarian option with a sunny side up egg but we got it made vegan and it was the bomb! I know you must be thinking what's the big deal, it's just fried rice, but I have to say I was really surprised when they brought this out. I was thinking it would be a small portion, but it was actually a lot. And it had tons of stuff inside, including this okra like veggie which nobody at the table could figure out. They also brought me out a bowl of cut red chilis because I'm crazy. Definitely worth getting this if you want a beautiful #peranakan meal at #candlenut in #singapore!
