why for my #1500threview I would like to honour this most delicious of #bestpicks 😋 I had this #macandcheese way back in July when I was travelling with my friends around Malaysia and Thailand & again in September when I was making my way to Penang by land 🚞 It’s a dish I always #throwback to for just how gosh darn amazing it is! @m1tch9i and I were salivating over the memory of having this as I mused over what dish to highlight for this milestone 🚏 I should not that the menu listing is actually “Truffle Baked Mac No Cheese”, to truly highlight the #ditchdairy behemoth that it is. This was maybe the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had!! It was cheesy, rich,

and umami with the flavours of mushroom and truffle. They did something to the tempeh that made it crunchy and sooo smoky like bacon, and the Parmesan flaky topping added some nice crunchiness. I will be dreaming about this🤤

As it’s not traditional #pasta, I was pleased to find the #noodle was nice and softly-cooked ☺️ While #macandcheese is often an extremely #cheesy affair, this one made sure not to overdo it ✊ It’s seemingly dry but every bite just feels so whole in flavour 😋 They seemed to have found the perfect balance of the seasoning with the deliciously potent #truffle 🤪 The #truffleoil had a mushroomy stank but in the most drool-worthy way 🤤

RM 28 ain’t bad for a truffle experience as life-changing as this one 🤯🫠

Yes, this was a delivery and I cba to do any more than invert the

little tub onto the plate I used for serving, hence the shape 😏 I later flattened the mound though, and threw in a bit of spinach on the side, see second shot.

This #macandcheese was almost RM32, almost sinful, and almost excellent. The sauce was light in flavour and inoffensive even to one who doesn't really like cheese 😉 I did think the taste of #truffle could have been more pronounced, but the #tempeh and #mushroom (#lionsmanemushroom and #oystermushroom) were both superb in texture and generous in portion 😋 With a dash of chilli flakes, I would get this again 🙂
