sandwich of the day

I made the hour-long journey to try out Micro's vegan sandwich of the day after seeing the Glowing review by @vikas. Now I can say that their french bean/eggplant vegan sandwich is really worth 5⭐! The veggies had a such a tantalising charred aroma.. very rich, almost felt like I was eating hor fan in a sandwich.. weird, but totally worked. The dressing was so creamy and savoury, no one would be thinking that cheese was missing. ✨ Note: i had this as a takeaway, which I only consume hours later ( because I went to their "hot food" unit at Serene Centre instead of the nearby bakery unit where they stock the sandwiches and the full range of pastries. By the time I realised it I had already ordered something else for breakfast, too full to fit in a sandwich..) Pretty impressive for an "old" sandwich to still be so delicious after hours! 🤤

sorry about the lame picture...we were so hungry and it was so good! one sandwich of the day was vegan and came with hummus, capsicum, cucumber and basil, the other originally had cheese, but they happily veganized it for us. the ciabatta bread was also amazing and i’m definitely coming back! according to the staff they sometime also have vegan cakes/cookies...hopefully i’m lucky next time!
