Vegan Wanton Mee

a delicious and affordable meal that fills my tummy as well as my cravings.. The huge mushroom in this bowl of flavourful soup alone is worth the bucks.. $5 for this wanton noodle set.. not easy to find vegan soup.. Also they’ve re-created their wanton recipe!! Extra crispy and still as delicious.. Support small local business. Please indicate no egg to make it vegan. (:

Queued for more than half an hour for this because of the 50% off promo today!! They also ran out of reusable bowls because of the crowd so it came in a kinda small disposable bowl, which made the noodles harder to toss and eat. The highlight was definitely the soup and wantons!! The soup was so full of umami from being simmered for hours with mushrooms, radishes, and other vegetables. The owner was also really kind to give three huge mushrooms in the soup. The wantons were filled with mushrooms too, and the skin was just the right thickness. The noodles weren't particularly impressive and actually a bit too sweet for me (they used thick soy sauce instead of the typical light sauce wanton mee comes in) but had decent texture!

Very flavourful sauce, chewy noodles but the 16-hour boiled soup (slightly salty) and wanton (dry, more flour than filling) are just not to my liking. Also felt very thirsty after the meal. Meh... $4

Mine came with an egg but it’s vegan without the egg!!!:/ It was not bad because I always love anything with wantons but the noodles were...not good

Brings me back to the good old days of having traditional wanton mee, but now its vegan and healthier of course! Noodles well cooked with premium soy sauce and omg their soup is solid amazing! Boiled for over 10 hours as the owner claims and the Japanese shiitake mushroom is thick and succulent- premium at it's best! Only at $4 per set, definitely value for money and worth visiting! Note: Pls request without egg for it to be vegan!
