I’ve never had a vegan mushroom Wellington at a restaurant before. It was quite good.

Had different types of wild mushrooms, sautéed greens and pickled shimeji mushrooms. And a spicy miso mustard. Would have preferred if the Wellington piece was a bit bigger tho for the price. Overall nightshade is a delicious and unique vegan restaurant in a nice part of downtown van

Have marked this down as

it was special enough for the HIGH cost. It is a small portion & the mushroom flavour doesn’t fly off the plate. I would prefer a more earthy umami - it would have been on the bland side if it weren’t for the jus and miso mustard.
