To sashimi or not to sashimi....I was blown away by the textures of this dish

cause even though they were probably sliced vegetables it had that sashimi texture and it went well with the dipping sauce. There were also so many components to this dish with a little soup shot to the sashimi itself. Thoroughly impressed! #veganuary #finedining

We were most excited about this sashimi platter hehe. Tbh only the 'salmon' (made from

carrots) tasted anything like sashimi (very much I would say). However, everything else still tasted so good even if they don't resemble sushi. Who knew coconut would taste so good dipped in soy sauce?!? Not a fan of the shooter personally but the overall platter was pretty amazing #veganuary

"Sashimi" made using konjac salmon (definitely not carrot like what some previous reviews mentioned), torched

coconut flesh, jelly-like aloe vera, bamboo shoot, and huai shan. Delicately presented although the taste did not quite match up - the huai shan in particular tasted basically exactly like huai shan. Would suggest adding the soy sauce and wasabi. However the oyster leaf tabasco shooter glass was very impressive - the combination of downing the cocktail (some kind of tomato and avocado salsa) alongside chewing the oyster leaf really did taste crazily strongly like raw oysters. To be honest I don't like the fishy taste of raw oysters, but it was mind-blowing that it tasted so similar. (Allium-free) #sgvegan #wholefoodplantbased #wfpb

This was delicious!! The carrot salmon was so visually alike to real salmon, my mom

thought we were eating real salmon! #veganisnotscary

This was such a delightful dish. The sashimi was great, the jellyfish was aloe in

rose/bandung syrup which was interesting. the shot on the side was so impressive, it’s mean to taste like oysters and it was my partners fav item. Really cool dish

This dish completely blew my mind 🤯 The “salmon sashimi” is apparently made of carrots

and I have no idea how they did that!! The taste and texture is quite similar to sashimi, just slightly bouncier, a bit like a fish cake! It’s sooo delicious with soy sauce 🍣

The white thing to its right is coconut flesh and who knew coconut flesh would taste so good with soy sauce!!! 🥥

But what truly blew my mind was the magical thing in the shot glass on the top right. You’re told it’s meant to taste like oysters and you are instructed to chew the leaves then down the shot. It’s slightly spicy, and it tastes exactly 100% like an oyster!!! I don’t know how they did that. There are small little bits in the shot that also feels like the texture of oyster flesh.

Hands-down the most interesting dish I’ve ever eaten and it’s so tasty.

This is quite probably the most elaborate looking dish I have ever seen! First there

is the oyster leaf tobacco shooter glass, both sweet and sour and the leaf really does tasty like the sea (never had oyster so can't be sure). The three types of 'sashimi' with wasabi are fantastic, my favourite was the carrot salmon. And there is also some aloe vera jellies. So intricate and all very yummy! 😋

I loved this! Would eat a whole meal with just this.
I was super impressed. Not

loving the oyster leaf but everything else was lovely.
The vegan sashimi was yum’ texture was close to salmon I think.
The coconut piece just tasted too much ñike coconut so i can’t remember what it was meant to represent.
The stuff in the glass that was red, that was very sweet, almost like a refresher before the next course!
Would happily eat so much more!

Amazing dish! The best part for me was the salmon sashimi wannabe! How did they

do that!?!? 🤯

One of my favourite dishes there :) it does taste a teeny tiny bit “fishy”

which adds to the fun of eating vegan sashimi. It’s been recreated quite well. It’s very similar to the sashimi at Herbivore but apparently the one at Herbivore isn’t vegan.
