Following a recommendation on one of my telegram chats. I had the Impossible Pizza, which is a vegan pizza topped with bits of Impossible plant-based meat, potato cream, spinach, and pickled onions. The pizza crust was a little bit chewy but overall I give it an 8/10 score as we cleaned the plates 😋✨ #sgvegankakis#pizza#veganpizza#sgvegan
Interesting use of potato cream. Perhaps to mimic a white sauce base? This wood fired pizza is an awesome base and delivered well.
A vegan wood fired pizza? Sign me up. The crust was fantastic, with the right hit of salt and the pizza base was creamed potato. I found that interesting and certainly not something I’ve seen in culinary circles. But one wonders: why not introduce a tomato sauce based pizza? The impossible meat used on the pizza gave it a meaty dimension and the pickled thin strips of onion gave the entire ensemble a fresh lift. I’m still eating my way through Singapore’s vegan scene and I appreciate that this pizza even exists at all. Still, I hope the kitchens can introduce more variety in time to come.
28 bucks for this. Not worth it. The pizza bread itself was tasty but they use potato cream (pretty weird tasting) as the pizza base instead of vegan chesse or standard red sauce. If they opt for another base, it could save this dish but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
Damn! My fav pizza in Singapore. They use potato cream instead of cheese and it works really well. The greens are fresh, the onions just right and the impossible meat adds the umami it needs. The crust is the best part of the pizza
