Unagi is made from soy & seaweed giving it a seafoody & gritty taste. Nice

vegan option when one missed unagi. Five star food. Very very very bad service. See my post on Avo Sushi on the terrible harassinvg dining experience.

$19. Seaweed soy 'fish' glazed in teriyaki sauce. Would have liked more sauce, as well

as some creaminess from avocado or vegan mayo, because the rice was a little dry and plain. This set came with a salad and yuzu jelly.

At first glance, the unagi reminds me of fried beancurd skin. There's not a lot

of sauce but the top of the unagi is crispy, 'meaty' part is a little gritty and more of a paste, with a piece of seaweed at the bottom. I would recommend people to go for the unagi sushi instead of the don. The sushi just tastes better with its vegan mayo and avocado. The don is a meh to me.

Nice try for creating the vegan version of unagi (fish) with some kind of fried

tofu and seaweed. But the sauce was not right, not the same one as in used for Unagi in Japan. If they change sauce then it'll be much better!

The ‘unagi’ tasted great! The texture was a little different from real unagi but I

still found it delicious. The dessert was yuzu flavoured jelly yumz 💛 My friend found the miso soup pretty salty, but I feel like that’s all miso soups in general 🤷🏻‍♀️

The set has a good combination of different dishes. The mock unagi is not bad,

but I hope it could be more juicy or chewy. I would also prefer of there is more sauce as the rice is overall a bit dry without it(but still good rice!) The salad and miso soup are really good though!

Interesting soft "unagi" texture. Tasted a little fishy but not overly so which is good

thing (I've always disliked fish). The salad was fine although the daikon was extra bitter on this day. Miso soup was too salty to enjoy.

This tastes pretty good.... but if you’re comparing it with unagi you might be disappointed

(like I was). Generous with the rice. Came with a salad and miso soup
