Handmade Noodles with Braised Mushrooms

I was in a more savoury mood (as always) so I didn’t enjoy this as much as I could have 😅 Nevertheless, it was still an objectively superb #noodle dish 😉 The #noodles were slightly thinner than I expected but they still managed to maintain a firm bite doused in a sweet dark sauce 😝 There were the standard #mustardgreens boiled to serve alongside the main toppings 🙃 just the usual suspects. Another feature that seems to come with most of their noodle dishes is the soy sauce #tofu 😋 Of course, the main show of #mushrooms came with #kingoystermushrooms and #chinesemushroom 😗 Both of them were thick, chewy, and dripping with juices 😛 This was $7.90 for a very filling bowl 👌 Just wait for the next, more prolific entry to come… 😉

Noodles with braised shiitake mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, tender tofu cubes, and bok choy. Nice and savoury in a simple way. The noodles to ingredients ratio was good, and the noodles didn't get too clumpy or cloying. (Allium-free, $7.90) #sgvegan #wholefoodplantbased #wfpb

The theme of yesterday’s meals? If looks could deceive 💅 This may not look like much but this has got to be one of the best #noodles I’ve had on this thine island 🏝️ The #mushrooms carry half of that weight though. I’ve never had #mushroom braised so well it just begged to be praised 🤲 Honestly, #savoury galore! There texture too was just amazing how it melted in your mouth 🤤 It sure as hell makes up for yesterday’s crappy lunch! This place by the way takes over where Thunder Tree once was and also serves #leicha! Yeah, today’s dinner plans have *already* been made 😮‍💨 S$7.90 for this serving at the Food Republic food court for what I’d describe as a sizeable portion; #veganisnotscary and anyone that says otherwise has beans for brains 😒
