Very soft and flavourful I like it that the portion are big chucks and not thin slices
The bitter gourd is stuffed with a delicious mix of tofu, carrots and black fungus. The sauce it is served with is nice and herbal with lovely depth of flavour.
Big piece of bittergourd stuffed with a 'meat' paste, similar to yong tau foo. Savoury and delicious! People who dislike bittergourd will probably enjoy this too as it wasn't really bitter. ($1.50) P.S. Do support them before their organic farm Fireflies Health Farm closes down at the end of July! Last day of operation is 31 May for the People's Park branch and 30 June for the VivoCity branch.
Very flavourful. Well seasoned and cooked. Bittergourd absorbed all the sauces and no bitterness. Very soft and the filling is great too. Can be salty if you eat it on its own. So it's better to go with their thunder tea rice or kolo mee.
