I like this dish, b'cos firstly, it is simply called crispy sesame bean curd, and

not trying to be chicken dish.

In my opinion,I think we shld stop 'meating' up d dish name. But that's just me lah.

Taste is light n lovely. Sesame oil is of nice balance n not overpowering. It's served with braised tau pok, acar, broccoli n d usual coriander cucumber tomato condiment,oh n with soup n d chilli too. The beancurd is really crispy so it lives up to the name.
Presentation is nice n quaint in that holder plate.
So yeah, one of those feel good dishes.

Another vegan dish added to the Greendot menu. The rice is made like traditional Hainanese

chicken rice. Comes with achar, broccoli and braised tofu. The beancurd skin is exquisite

First time trying Greendot's take on chicken rice - with crispy beancurd skin serving as

the main protein for the dish (paired also with braised tau kwa and broccoli). Love this combination of flavours so much. The generous helping of achar is what elevates this dish - the sweet tart fruitiness is a delight.

The outlet was pretty packed when I went, so they told me they'd run out of sesame rice, which is a shame because Greendot's sesame rice is the bomb. When it was served though, there was sesame rice - which was cold. But better than the alternative!!

they call itā€™s ā€œcrispy beancurd skin with sesame riceā€ but you can call it vegan

chicken rice. very decent, great portion, it was $7+ greendot tends to lack non-diary/egg options but the ones they do have, they knock it out the park with. good addition of greens that is usually lacking in chicken rice dishes. #veganuary

Nice take on the chicken rice. The rice is v fragrant, the beancurd has a

nice, soft and layered texture (crispy on the outside) but doesnā€™t really taste like chicken (probably why they donā€™t actually call this dish ā€œchicken riceā€).
The dish also comes with braised tofu, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, achar achar, and a small bowl of soup. Overall v good!

The variety of sides that comes with the dish is a good plus. The beancurd

is relatively thick with several layers which makes it nice to bite through.

It was a bit sad that I could change the rice to another rice...

The slice of tomato (hidden by the cucumber) looked some what sad and pale. Maybe Greendot could consider just switching it for cucumber or achar. #veganin2020

Greendotsā€™ take on chicken rice - I found the chili sauce and the beancurd ā€˜chickenā€™

were really reminiscent of those you would have with regular chicken rice, however was about confused by the addition of the achar which I felt did not go with the rest of the dish. The rice itself wasnā€™t as fragrant as I wouldā€™ve liked too.

Set comes with yummy soup and chicken rice chilli. Main consists of broccoli, achar and

soya. Ain't need no Mcdonalds to enjoy a happy meal šŸ„¦šŸ˜‹

didn't realise the bento is more expensive ($9.90) than the sesame rice set šŸ˜ I

think it's all the same ingredients but just with more veggies. super filling and beancurd skin was nice and crispy šŸ’Æ really enjoyed the achar as well!

Similar to what Nature Cafe is offering but I like Greendot's sesame rice better, and

it came with sides like broccoli and achar.
