I wasn’t sure what to order so went my guts with this one.
Soft and

bouncy #horfun noodles in #braised #herbal broth. The ‘duck’ is chewy with the texture of #mushroom. Added a tablespoon of #chillipadi and a bit of black vinegar to tweak the flavour to my liking. Not bad.

Nice! Would order again :D Not satisfying if you are looking for horfun, but it's

still a nice dish.

It was more like kway chap than horfun, imo. The sauce isn't the thick starchy kind. Noodles were slippery n silky. Don't think the noodles went through the initial fry to have the wok hei element :/

The duck bit was really good, and they gave quite a lot. It reminded me of chicken gizzard (from before I went vegan), texture is pretty similar to veg mutton. It has this kinda fatty, creamy, savoury type of taste. Other reviews said they are made from mushroom stems. My guess is they marinated then fried the mushroom stems to dry it out and give it the fibrous texture and creamy taste.

It came with a bowl of clear soup. You can probably imagine what it tastes like hahaha~

You can opt for them to add chili to the dish, which I did. It was quite spicy hahaha ಥ‿ಥ , but I appreciated the kick it gave. Think I'll opt for less chili next round (๑•﹏•).

I just hope they make the noodle part nicer hahahaha the duck bit was rly gud ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ.

Had the sour plum orange drink after this, but I'm not writing a separate post because I'm now unsure if it is vegan (miiiiight contain honey). Haizzz it was good though :(

Was curious to see what they use to make the 'duck', and im glad it's

not mock meat. It's tofu skin, which is similar to the types used in 'chicken' rice.
It's tasty. Had it wth rice noodles hor fun. Light gravy. Cld definitely do wth more vege but hey, for the price i shldnt be complaining.
Comes with a side soup.

Green Bliss Habitat’s menu is endless and very affordable. They’re also the handful few that

opens till late. Came here earlier this week with my mom. This was much more flavourful than their Kway Chap that I’ve previously got. The “meat” here was very fibrous mushroom stems! #abillionlove

Imagine ipoh hor fun style hor fun, with kway chap noodles. Nice and light, and

very comforting as I'm not really feeling well today as I eat this. Nice mushroom stem duck and simple warming soup. Got it spicy, but it does not taste that spicy leh haha. Good braised comfort food when you don't want porridge.

Loved the braised mushroom stems which had a naturally 'meaty' fibrous texture and was very

flavourful, reminiscent of braised duck/pork from my childhood! However I would say the noodles resembled kway chap rather than hor fun, since it did not have wok hey and was in a light broth. ($5.80)
