Vietnamese-inspired bowl of fine rice vermicelli noodles with a generous array of fresh vegetables including mixed mesclun leaves and crunchy red cabbage, served alongside cashew nuts and sunflower seeds, as well as topped with crispy rice paper crackers, beansprouts, fried shallots, coriander, and cut chilli. Light and refreshing with lots of greens, yet flavourful when tossed with the delicious housemade creamy almond dressing! Enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would~ Would have been nice to have a bit of tempeh included for a protein boost! Cute presentation with the criss-crossed pair of chopsticks. My second time at Genius Central for a client lunch. I had their Falafel bowl before which was very good imo but decided to try another option in the menu :). I opted for the Flavours of Asia in the end (and added on tempeh) because I was craving noodles despite there being mixed reviews. In my opinion, I think this wasnt as oily as what others said. It was a relatively large portion actually (bulk up by veggies) The vietnamese paper crisp and chilli added the additional crunch and spice to the bowl. They used the thin rice vermicelli with medly of cruncy purple cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce and beansprouts, topped with some seeds, shallots and corainder with drizzle of sesame sauce. I added on tempeh for more protein and satisfying meal which tasted ok. The two long sticks on the side was actually chopsticks. Dont know why I keep thinking it was some short of crackers from pictures 🤣🤣🤣. Maybe I am too greedy for food. Overall, this is relatively decent and worth a try but I would still prefer the falafel bowl as it was more satisfying. This one is more suited for a lighter and refreshing meal.

The presentation of the dish is really good, but as for the taste, not really my type. Well I do have an Indian tastebud and when there’ some spices missing, it’s not my first choice. Though I did try the khichdi the other time, which was amazing!! I got the set meal which came with a chia seed pudding, which was really awesome, something I’d definitely eat again 😃 #flavorsofasiabowl #veganmeals #veganfoodporn #veganfoodshare #trynewfood #abillionturns3
