Likey the presentation of it! Sichuan dumplings, popiah and the impossible gyoza is yummmmz. This

cost 8.80sgd before gst and srv charge. Get to try 4 different items.. i think quite worth it

Finally tried the #vegan dimsum platter at EMPRESS and it did not disappoint 🌝 The

skin of the dumplings were as soft as a cloud ☁️ and they were steamed perfectly. The ambience is 10/10 beside the #singaporeriver at ACM so it’s perfect for a brunch before museum visiting! Will be back!

The #plant-based appetiser platter was a great selection of items, presented tastefully. Comes with

mushroom and corn dumplings, broccoli and crispy eggplant with soy floss as well as cabbage dumplings. Its part of a 3-course plant-based menu that sets you back by $38 on a weekend. Great choice of dumplings. #empressacm

The one in the white dish was my favourite taste wise, even though it was

so spicy that it triggered my post-covid cough. Beware! The gyoza were quite oily.

Vegetarian dim sum or dumplings are of course by no means new but so few

places are as plush as Empress — which means it was the perfect spot for afterwork drinks or with vegan friends who’ve never had dim sum in their lives and for whom stepping into a proper dim sum spot might feel intimidating. There’s little to pick apart here, as of course, being vegan means the usuals like har gow are entirely off limits. Still, the selection is satisfying and the platter I ordered gave enough of a sampler. Could it be better? It’s hard to gauge as I haven’t had much dim sum in the same category that uses alternative meats. Where it delivered though was in presentation and sound know-how of the different doughs and skins that make dim sum so wonderful. Hands down would return.

Very creative Dim Sum selection of four parcels. Unfortunately their award winning Gyoza was out,

so I had two Omni Pork instead. If their Gyoza is better than their Omni Pork, then it really needs two awards.

Pretty good plant based dim sum - and that’s coming from a Cantonese girl! I

enjoyed the 2 fried ones more, the wonton in soup was also good, the last one was the least original. But overall super great presentation and great value for money at around 8$

Amazing. I just love everything about Empress: the venue is beautiful, the menu has more

and more Plant Based options every time I go, the staff is really knowledgeable on vegan options, and just a pleasure overall. Empress is one of the best plant based friendly restaurants in Singapore in my opinion.

Now back to this dish: love the variety of dishes, the gyoza is the winner for me, but all four dim sums were delicious.

Good variety on the platter! Sichuan dumpling was the best, amazing flavours. Not a fan

of the kale but everything else was lovely.
