Guess we were feeling schmancy.. Never tried caviar before so we have nothing to compare

this to. But it looked fun so we ordered it. Unless you miss your caviar since turning vegan, I believe itā€™s just one of those things to do once just for the experience.

It was basically a bunch of seaweed pearls infused in different flavours to create the caviar look and taste. There was one that imitated salmon roe, and also nother that had wasabi in em. Comes with a side of coconut yoghurt, strawberries, blackberries and biscuits. #veganfinedining #caviar #salmonroe #coconutyoghurt #vegancaviar #wasabi #strawberries #blackberries #fancyschmancy

This did not impress me šŸ–ļø ..but I would highly encourage you get it. No

dish Iā€™ve ever had, #plantbased or not, has ever screamed #finedining as loudly as this has. Vegan #caviar? šŸ™€ The idea itself is just absurd! The flop here for me was the texture. Grainy and almost akin to #couscous, quite oddly, considering Iā€™ve definitely had many #accidentallyvegan foods with a very similar texture to caviar. Think sago balls or the many #konjac and rice balls that go into boba or other Asian desserts. The illusion of these being #fish roe fell flat to its lack of a ā€œpoppingā€ feel in your mouth. The taste though? Phenomenal! The ikura / #salmon ones especially! No surprise they nailed the flavour since theyā€™re apparently all #seaweed based šŸ˜‹ They were all out of this for #valentinesday so sadly @m1tch9i didnā€™t get to try it, but at least that means thereā€™s definitely going be a second date here šŸ˜‡

I was not really impressed with this dish. Was really looking forward to it. We

found that it lacked flavour. The black seaweed one was by far the best. The other 2 were not appetising.
