Cold Bean Noodles

I was super excited to try this restaurant after seeing @dafnelately and @vikas reviews. This was probably the most authentic Szechuan cuisine I had ever had, and it really did knock my socks off. Starting off with this free appetizer thanks to abillion, I loooved the texture of these noodles and the crispy, chewy, spicy, pickled, oily, salty, umami goodness poured on top. It was such a huge portion! It could have been my main and been enough. It definitely had some heat but nothing I can’t handle 🌶️ #welikeitspicy.

I feel like all the best things in life are #beans affiliated 🫘 Think #tofu, cat paws 🐾, #tempeh, puns like “how you bean doing”, #glassnoodles 🍜, transbeans 🏳️‍⚧️, #coffee ☕️, #vegancheese 🧀, and most importantly #miso 🏆 The noodles are really hard to pick up (skill issue) but they are oh so lekker 😋 In spite of their baptism in #chillioil this isn’t all that #spicy so it’s possible for everyone to enjoy 🤗

Oh yeah 😋😋😋 these cold bean noodles are absolutely amazing and so original. I’m Chengdu they put these in a pita and make a sandwich out of them. Here you get a huge bowl with so many delicious #sichuan flavors and tongue numbing peppercorn. There's so much good stuff going on with these cold bean noodles! Tons of diced green & red chilis and garlic on top of delicate bean noodles (healthy!) in a tub of hot spicy #sichuan chili oil. We get this every time we're at #siweimaocai! #singapore

Si Wei Mao Cai is like vegan Sichuan heaven! These noodles are slippery but delicious and topped with diced green chili peppers!
