The first time when one tastes Japanese curry, you may wonder why it's sweet? The

term "curry" is used in different cultures; Thai curry, Indian curry, Malay curry, etc. look similar but they all have their own distinct character and taste. This kapitan curry is prepared by an experienced chef from Malacca. Nyonya vegan cuisine is rare in Singapore, so most of us may not be familiar with its authentic taste. Here, we can have a chance to experience the authentic taste and culture. This is also one of their signature Nyonya dish. The curry is rich, creamy and moderate spicy. It is another good choice at Coco veggie. #nyonya #curry #veganchicken #vmockmeat

Great curry based on Ambee's recommendation. Not a fan of the chikn pieces though

**note: the restaurant has shifted to the 3rd floor, near Starbucks**

Always good to see a

sizeable crowd at a vegetarian eatery! The curry was tasty, albeit a little too salty. The soya chunks were generic ones, would've been better if monkeyhead mushrooms were used instead.

Tastes as one would expect from a curry sauce based dish. The soy pieces had

a good texture and thus is nice to chew. Towards the end, the curry had a distinct sour taste, which I guess makes it more distinctly Nyonya. Personally, I would have preferred it spicier~ but good dish overall!

Was kinda disappointed that the curry didn't made the mark. It was salty and the

curry flavour was underwhelming:(

Curry is a lil sour, probably meant to be sour. Other than that, decent curry

dish!

Not sure why this dish has below average reviews but I found it to be

a decently delicious sour-ish curry and chewy soy chicken, good for sharing.
