Cereal Tofu (Vegan)

Tender tofu in light and crispy batter tossed in cereal bits, not greasy at all! The menu dish name also claims to use multigrain cereal. Happy this is vegan by default as most places use egg and dairy. Personally found the cereal a bit on the sweet side though, would have preferred the curry leaves and chilli to be more prominent in flavour. ($12)

Tofu was the right balance between soft and firm on the inside, and crispy on the outside! Generous serving of the crispy cereal bits but felt like it was just a little too sweet, and could've been more savoury and/or spicy if they infused the flavour of the curry leaves and chopped chili better (kinda felt like it was tossed in at the last minute because they couldn't really be tasted in the cereal itself).

Piping hot & crispy outer layer with an almost melty tofu interior, I enjoyed this dish a lot! Several places often offer cereal dishes with milk/egg, but I was pleasantly surprised because this was vegan in Mother Earth’s menu 😍
