Not a fan of the onions on top (I know that's an unpopular opinion!), but the spätzle are just perfect and so is the cheesy cream: incredibly delicate and balanced, not even a hint of that "fake cheese"-synthetic taste, super yummy.
For my final meal in Germany, I requested we go to Bodhi, a vegan restaurant serving classic Bavarian fare. After seeing @david-‘s reviews here I had to copy him and get the keesspatzn, it just looked too good. Indeed, it was so delicious. Kind of like a German Mac and cheese but with spetzl, which gives it this chewy texture that I really loved. It was soooo #cheesy and #creamy, and the #friedonion on top enhanced the whole thing. A very heavy meal, but really nice for cold and rainy weather. 15 euros and it came with a side salad as well!

These were ultra indulgent and didn’t leave anything to be desired. Creamy cheese that was some of the best vegan cheese out there!
Questi spatzle al formaggio sono molto simili a quelli della tradizione. Molto buono e gustosi, sono accompagnato da cipolla croccante. Un altro piatto da provare.
Ich bin eigentlich so gar nicht für die bayrische Küche zu haben, weil sie so extrem Fleischlastig ist, aber das bodhi liefert den Beweis, dass auch bayrisch vegan und superlecker sein kann 👌😃 Alle Gerichte und Getränke 100% vegan! Keesspatzn - extrem gut!
