Always a delight dining at Ahimsa. Fishy Business is now in a bagel form. Consisting

of chickpea mash, lettuce, cucumber, tomato. Added avocado. Great flavour. Tasted like ‘tuna’ sandwich. Good size portion.

Price: $12.90

i should take more pride in my reviews and take better pictures i think. will

try harder next time. that aside THIS WAS REALLY GOOD really really really really good

avail on Taco Tuesdays & Thursdays! 5pm onwards

contains: breaded Happiee Fishiee Sticks, guac, sweet onions, slaw, spicy tangy aioli. it wasn’t very spicy, it tasted really good (and my spice tolerance is fucking low. like i used to think McWings were spicy)

i also am not a food writer so the only thing i can say in food reviews is “tastes really good” “amazing!!!” “___ of my dreams”

Vega hapie Tacos with spicy tangy aioli and happie vegan fish sticks

🌊Those familiar with my post will notice... Yes, my fear of seafood. So even if

it's vegan, I tend to steer away. But this is a pleasant surprise. The chickpeas with mayo, and I believe seaweed had a great creamy umami taste, with a touch of the sea. Not too overpowering to scare me off.
❤️Again, I added tempeh. Hope it didn't spoil the aesthetics!
🥒Love the fresh cucumbers and lettuce!
🥯Chewy bagel which has a nice sesame and baked fragrance.
🚪Visit to ahimsa before they move out/ close (not sure yet as I'm writing...)

Chewy #bagel 🥯 stacked with lots of refreshingly crunchy and juicy vegetables - tomato, cucumber,

lettuce - drizzled in cashew mayonnaise. 🍅🥒🥬 The real highlight was the chickpea mash, which somehow tasted remarkably reminiscent of #tuna mayonnaise!! Even my non-veg friend was mindblown! 🤯 Texture-wise, it leaned towards being a gritty / grainy dressing rather than flaky like real fish. Nonetheless, I was impressed by the plant magic ahaha. 🪄 While there are vegan canned tuna analogues available in the market, I love how Ash uses natural whole foods instead. Chickpea tuna is also not really something I've seen at other vegan eateries in Singapore despite often seeing recipe creators overseas talk about it. Happy to finally have the chance to try it here at Ahimsa Café~ 👩🏾‍🍳 A little cheeky but I need a sourdough sandwich or croissant version of this! 😝🥐 (Contains alliums, $10.90) #sgvegan #womenowned #minorityowned #wholefoodplantbased #wfpb
