my 擂茶饭 (#thundertearice) 🥲 this shop is right at Tanjong Pagar MRT and has a couple of #vegan options on their menu - this is their vegetables-based one which was yummy and filling. Every ingredient was well-seasoned and delishh 🙂 Will def return!! #sglocal
asked them to swap out the mashed potato & coleslaw (both contain mayo) for tofu…. But only got 2 tiny pieces 😢
:) The staff was very knowledgeable about what's vegan, and told me they could replace the coleslaw and potato salad (which had mayo) with more veggies.
The green bowl was filled with the familiar Hakka veggies that i love: mani cai, long beans, tofu. The crispy deep/air-fried broccoli pieces and chewy short-grain rice were a surprisingly delicious...
Their rice are so fragant and chewy toooooo! If you can take Impossible, persoanlly would recommend Impossible Hakka Bowl more ~ note that the veges are cooked with alliums ingredients
If you dine in and feeling thirsty, worry not as they provide free drinks...
Will order again. Their impossible bowl is not bad as well!
