They say that nice guys finish last. But, this Nice Guy has made it to the top of our list just by listening to his customers and BOOM- everybody wants a piece of them!

Mister Nice Guy's Bakeshop has the kind of sweet treats that always leave you wanting more. Vegan sausage rolls, Lochness shake, cupcakes, and pastries were all items added based on his customer's requests! Try it for yourself and let us know if he's really as nice as they say!

2. Gong De Lin

Hard to find, but worth it! Located in the Noodle Kingdom, this Chinese inspired vegan restaurant is a must-try! It features vegan stir-fries, bamboo soup, and cold noodle dishes plated in a minimalist space with booths and wooden decor. Endless plant-based options to try that will surely leave your tastebuds satisfied.

3. Lord of the Fries

Started in 2004 with the mission to make the ultimate fries! Their fries are crisp and delicious when met with their mouth-watering burgers and hot dogs! Whether it’s the home-bred Melbourne hot dog, the Tijuana or the Chicago, they have it all!

4. Union Kiosk

This little hole-in-the-wall eatery serves 100% vegan jaffles, coffee and sweets. Located in Little Collins St on Causeway Lane, Union Kiosk is hard to miss! The bolognese jaffle with black beans, salsa, and guacamole is just scrumptious. They also have vegemite, and chili pineapple jaffle, and many more! Union Kiosk not only serves amazing food but they take environmental initiatives to make a difference. They compost food waste, reuse, recycle and are completely zero waste.

5. Roule Galette

At Roule Galette, you will find the authentic French crêpe with all the topping you can imagine such as strawberries, banana, chocolate, sugar, honey, ice cream etc. You can also choose some more elaborated crêpe such as the Aumoniere, the Normande or the original Crêpe Suzette.

In 2002, a young Sri Lankan couple moved to Australia and started an eatery with limited dishes all made with love and veggies! Located in the midst of Queen Victoria Market, it's a great place serving fresh and healthy dishes made from organic and locally sourced ingredients. Their falafel wrap and bircher muesli are some of the signature dishes.
