My FAVE dish from all Chinese veg restaurants! Very hearty, with a generous portion of ingredients like tofu skin, monkeyhead mushrooms, shitake, enoki n other types of tofu to absorb all the herbal goodness! N also v v more
MADE FROM PEAS! I really wanted to like it, but taste wise (if you're just drinking it directly without either adding sweeteners or using it in oatmeal/smoothies), I'm still trying to get used to it! Plus, I'm the type who more
($4.90) Microwaved it for 10sec (cos it was left out for a few hrs) n omgg so warm, soft, chewy and fragrant!!! Neither too sweet nor jelak (which is y I had to exercise lotsa self-control not to gobble everything in one more
This was GINORMOUS!! I almost thought I wrongly ordered the larger sized one! Anws, I loved every component of this - and the greens were so well seasoned and fresh. I was stuffed with pure goodness!!
TRAGIC DELIVERY!! (Ordered via makan-guru n I think the delivery guy put this directly on top of his engine....it came looking wrecked n warm - can't fault the restaurant tho....) I ate half of it warm which was a bad idea more
Soft n chewy mochi (w a hint of matcha I think) with delightful red bean. Filling is slightly sweet but well balanced out by the unsweetened outer layer
My absolute favourite caifan (on a bed of kuay tiao)! The meicai is absolutely divine and I love how the dishes here are waaay less oily and salty (but still very flavourful) than the usual caifan stalls.
($3.50)
Not tooo pungent but would honestly prefer to just have fried (non-stinky) taukwa
[Vegetarian] Went on a delightful date with myself💕 (lol) with a Single Platter with hummus, swapped the usual fava beans with babaganoush (mashed eggplant with tahini n olive oil), labna (cheese) and falafels for $15! more
The most delightfully flavourful, soulful bowl of noodles!! I loved the crabmeat and the contrasting freshness of the herbs/microgreens!! ($8.80; pickled mangoes sold separately for $2.80)
