This was really well-cooked, and such a huge portion, I took home the leftovers for another meal. You have a choice of sauce, i went for ginger, and added on tofu puffs for an extra 50c. tasty radish cakes, steamed and pan-fried so it’s soft and lovely while also being crispy on the outside. Simple and amazing. I'm enjoying another Australian holiday this week! It was wet and cold in Sydney but it's sunny and nice up in Brisbane! 😁🙌 The bibimbap here at Vegeme usually contains egg but you can have them make it vegan by withholding the egg. I must say, it was very good! 😁

When this was served there were copious amounts of steam coming from it; it was quite impressive. It made getting a reasonable photo a challenge though. I don't think there was enough ginger or chilli in it but it was still quite good and it was a large serve.

Diced capsicum, pineapple, sweet and sour pom pom mushrooms (aka lion's mane mushrooms) and rice. I was sceptical at first but yes as long as you are a #pineapplelover this is good! And maybe a fan of the sweet and sour combination. I am not generally, but thought this was good. I had a lychee drink too. Queensland is definitely the place to be in Oz if you love tropical fruits 🌴🍍

The suji is hands down one of my fave things to order from Vegeme. Pretty sure it’s just Lamyong Salted Crispy Chicken, which I LOVE, so am not complaining. It’s sooo crunchy and chewy and deliciously seasoned. Just wish it came with a dipping sauce? Order this for lunch sometimes to eat at the office, and have got my omni workmates hooked on it too 😌

These were… odd. My partner ordered as he was intrigued by the sound of them and they’re only 3 bucks, so why not. From the look of the fine dusting of salt & pepper on top, I almost expected them to taste like cinnamon sugar. The bun itself was quite sweet, and fluffy on the inside. Wouldn’t order these again, much tastier things here to save your tummy space for (like the deep fried suji).

Described as deep fried suji, seasonal vegetables and cashew nuts in sweet chilli sauce. Pretty sure the suji is Lamyong Salted Crispy Chicken which is fkn DELICIOUS, although I prefer it when served straight from the fryer. As here when it was coated in sauce it lost some of its addictive crunchiness and became a little chewy. Very generous serving as always for Vegeme, but I managed to get through the whole plate. All in all a solid dish, but not my favourite from here and not sure I’d order this one again.

This is described on the menu as “thin noodle soup with shiitake mushroom, soy protein, goji (lycium), seasonal veggies and sesame oil”. This was tasty with a clear broth and LOADS of veg. Couldn’t really taste the sesame flavour, and the “soy protein” part was tofu puffs, but I absolutely can’t complain for an enormous serving for $11.60, which does me for 2x office lunches. Tbh a lot of Vegeme dishes I’ve tried taste pretty similar - but the value is unbeatable, and they’re always yum, so I’m a fan. Plus their staff (I’m guessing owners?) are always really friendly, and they’re somewhat of a Brisbane vego/vegan institution, so I like to support them when I can. My office is right near Vegeme and I know they went through a really rough patch last year after the Brisbane floods, and their restaurant being closed due to power issues for months afterwards. They really do deserve our patronage to stay open after all these setbacks 💚 #brisbanevegans #noodlesoup

A really delicious laksa with a creamy spicy broth and a good variety of veggies, plus tofu puffs. The menu said it had soy protein too but it seemed to be missing. Enormous portion as usual for Vegeme, for $14.50 this will do me for 2 work lunches. Really enjoyed this and would order again 👌🏼
