Sesame Noodle Soup

Very nice and generous dish. Just would like that it has more flavour add it to the noodles

This is described on the menu as “thin noodle soup with shiitake mushroom, soy protein, goji (lycium), seasonal veggies and sesame oil”. This was tasty with a clear broth and LOADS of veg. Couldn’t really taste the sesame flavour, and the “soy protein” part was tofu puffs, but I absolutely can’t complain for an enormous serving for $11.60, which does me for 2x office lunches. Tbh a lot of Vegeme dishes I’ve tried taste pretty similar - but the value is unbeatable, and they’re always yum, so I’m a fan. Plus their staff (I’m guessing owners?) are always really friendly, and they’re somewhat of a Brisbane vego/vegan institution, so I like to support them when I can. My office is right near Vegeme and I know they went through a really rough patch last year after the Brisbane floods, and their restaurant being closed due to power issues for months afterwards. They really do deserve our patronage to stay open after all these setbacks 💚 #brisbanevegans #noodlesoup
