minor detail but the name of this restaurant is Il Margutta, it is known as the first vegetarian restaurant in Italy. It's on a quiet little street near Piazza del Popolo. vegan dishes & dishes with #veganoptions are clearly marked. This is the most delicious #eggplant I have ever eaten. The crust was crispy - the inside was creamy and it was amazing! the orange bread is tomato foccacia. I put the leftover bread in my purse so it wouldn't go to waste 😁 They have a vegetarian #buffet during the week for $18. they also have interesting art on the walls. very reasonable prices for the area. #melanzana #melanzanefritte it was a very hot day when we ate here and they have air conditioning .
