My partner got the big #bao bun that was curry flavored I think. It was about £4 and pretty decent. Not sure I’d get it again for that price.

🥑🍱 🇯🇵Simple and delicious avocado rolls wrapped in nori🍙. I love it with the wasabi, soy sauce, and 🫚ginger. It’s maybe not quite enough wasabi for me in the one little packet that comes with it. I wonder how they could reduce the amount of plastic and waste ♻️🗑️consumed in this chain though as this does bother me. I suppose they don’t have facilities to clean things on site though to use reusable chopsticks or dish ware which is a shame. And all the individual packs of soy sauce, ginger🫚, and wasabi are not needed if you are eating in. Argh. Anyways just choosing 🌱vegan is making a big difference already and this chain offers lots of lovely vegan options thankfully. #sushi #vegansushi #avocado #japanese

🇰🇷 There is clearly a Korean 🌊wave in the restaurants here. This stir fry with udon noodles🍜 tasted very 🥥coconutty to me which doesn’t seem Korean at all. It was awesome with loads of veg🫛 and a delicious sauce. I don’t remember it being too 🌶️spicy. For £6.99 we’ve been sucked into the Itsu world and are regularly collecting🦋 butterfly stamps to get a free dish. #veganisnotscary #korean #noodles

🇹🇭 These are delicious 🍜udon noodles in a Thai style 🥥coconut sauce. With the edamame🫛, greens🥬, ginger🫚, and shallots it’s just a riot of flavors. You can add their veggie meatballs for more protein but this already has 16.2g of protein with the edamame. It was about £7. I’d happily get this again. For every £5 you spend in itsu you can get a stamp to earn a free meal. #asianfood #noodles #thai

🌏My partner tried this thinking it would be a soup, oops! It was nice, and we both liked it. The udon🍜 is steamed and then it has vitamin packed fresh greens 🫛🥬and 🫚ginger, katsu sauce, and crispy shallots. He added their vegan meatballs for an extra £1.50 for more protein. It’s £8.49 for the standard meal. It’s great how they aren’t serving in plastic but it would be even better in something that wasn’t disposable. This place is great for quick, healthier vegan options. #lazyvegan #asianfood #noodles

Miso soup is so healthy for you! 🥣 This one has chunks of tofu in it and magnesium-packed wakame which is the green stuff. I love miso soup and lived in Japan 🇯🇵 for two years but I was still a bit scared by the wakame. 🫢 My partner happily slurped it down. I love seaweed too 🍘 but haven’t eaten it like this much. It was a bit slimy for me and difficult to eat in the soup. I’ll persevere and try again as I do love their miso soup. #veganjapanesefood #miso

I already poured soy sauce over this. We are so lucky to have vegan sushi 🍱 on offer locally. This is delicious with three different kinds of sushi, veggie maki, 🥑avo baby rolls, and veggie dragon rolls with crispy onions on top. They’ve stopped letting you take your own sushi here as once we accidentally took something with fish as it was in the vegan section, 🫣yuck! They kindly gave us some money back and apologised. #vegansushi #noreasonnottobevegan

These are a must have side whenever we have Itsu! You can get them cold or warm, but we always prefer the warm ones. Soft and tasty dumplings filling with veggies, comes with a teriyaki dipping sauce. #abillionturns3 #itsu #wimbledon #gyoza #oriental #dumpling
